GUANGZHOU, Dec. 9 (Xinhua) -- About 746 tonnes of smuggled frozen food worth around 50 million yuan (about 7.2 million U.S. dollars) has been seized recently, according to the coast guard in south China's Guangdong Province.
After receiving tip-offs in late November, coast guard officials tracked a suspicious ship off the coast of Zhuhai, Guangdong. Though the law enforcement officials ordered the vessel to stop immediately for inspection, the people on board refused and sped away to the north. Chicken Tenders

However, their attempt to escape inspection failed at last. Thirty containers full of tripe and other frozen food were found. Upon questioning, the people on board couldn't present any valid documents for the items. The ship and goods were seized, and the suspects were arrested.
