Inside each car that leaves the Molsheim factory, exist top-notch picks of materials like leather, carbon, platinum, or solid aluminum.

If you look at Bugatti cars, you know the philosophy behind the motto of the founder is true when Ettore Bugatti said, “Nothing is too beautiful and nothing is too expensive.” This holds not just for the outside of the Bugatti cars but also in the luxury interiors.

And so, each Bugatti car is a masterpiece and we don’t just mean the crazy engines and the insane speed, and the ridiculous performance, although, all of it is very impressive. Let’s just talk about the Bugatti aesthetics and how the carmaker manages to imbue every vehicle with such plush.

According to Bugatti’s Director of Interior Design, Etienne Salomé, the configuration of a Bugatti hyper sports car is like going to a tailor. Each car is an individual piece of work, each tailored individually. No two cars are the same, and Salomé personally guides the Bugatti clientele on fabrics, materials, and colors. The interior of each car shows there’s attention to detail and high craftsmanship behind it. Most Bugatti models use not just high-quality materials but two-tone colors, taking inspiration from French Fashion.

Inside each car, exist top-notch picks of materials like leather, carbon, platinum, or solid aluminum. Each component is refined by hand, and there is high-quality stitching on the seats. The idea behind the Bugatti interior is simple – anyone inside the car should have the same plush they enjoy at home. Now, who says money can’t buy everything?

Named after Ettore and Barbara Bugatti’s daughter and eldest child, L’Ébé Bugatti, Bugatti has launched the limited-edition hypercar in Chiron and Chiron Sport configurations called Bugatti Chiron L’Ébé. This is also the Bugatti Chiron’s curtain call in Europe and is the most exclusive Bugatti ever.

The highlight has to be the gold-plated Macaron on the grille, something Bugatti and the Bavarian minting and embossing company Poellath GmbH & Co. KG together spent five years developing. Usually, there’s a solid 970 sterling silver Macaron that is usually found on Chiron models.

For L’Ébé Bugatti also added more gold accents on the inside, and the interior is done in the same color combination Silk/Lake Blue, to coordinate with the exterior. There is gold L’Ébé lettering on the headrests and in the center console. The door panels showcase Bugatti’s 110-year history with a design sketch featuring the Chiron, Veyron 16.4, EB 110, Type 57 SC Atlantic, and Type 35. There is a black drawing on a light background on the driver’s side and a light drawing on a dark blue background on the passenger’s side for added contrast.

The Bugatti design is a continuous one, so the same swooping C that is present on either side of the Bugatti models is repeated in the insides as well. The same goes for the symbolic horseshoe grille. Both elements are repeated in a similar vein in the interior. There is an implied horseshoe in the center of the steering wheel you can see the C-line reflected in the middle of the interior, dividing the insides symmetrically.

There’s a C-line in the layout of the instruments, the selector lever, and the armrest. The four-round instruments are also a reflection of the four headlight elements on each side. There is soft leather on the minimal dashboard, and the interiors flow in a smooth symmetrical fashion. Nothing is out of place or jarring, and there is no waste of space. Much like French fashion, the interior is dominated by defined minimalism. The essentials are there, but the entire feel of understated luxury.

To the untrained eye, it can feel a little lacking. For instance, this is not the car to be in if you want a fancy infotainment system. If you want stars and spangles the Corvette might be a better bet. The Bugatti interiors are all about gentle flows, open spaces, and rich redolence.

There is painstaking care behind each interior. For instance, the Bugatti color "la vie en bleu" is a discreet reminder of the 110-year-old legacy of Bugatti and comes placed in accents, like the engine start button or the launch control button.

If we talk about the Chiron Pur Sport, it replaces all of the leather in the Chiron in favor of Alcantara. This may reduce the “luxury” aspect of the car, but Alcantara provides a better grip and is more comfortable and accommodating when it comes to space and body shape.

There is a digital display on either side of the analog speedometer. The other features like the parking sensors, a rearview camera, adaptive suspension, ambient lighting in a swooping C shape, and heated mirrors are also aesthetically pleasing.

The insides scream plush, so this is not the car you want to slide in with your dirty jeans. But then again, if you own a Bugatti, there may not be any dirty jeans in your wardrobe unless they come dusted with gold.
